Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Issac Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chad Slone!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Slone is trying to defend but Johnson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Slone trying to hold on to Johnson's head to control him but Johnson postures up.
Slone tries to get to full guard but Johnson has control of the leg.
Slone is refusing to be controlled, as Johnson sits in half guard.
Slone is looking for a sweep. Johnson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Slone has his hands clasped together around Johnson's back. He's all about the action.
Slone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Johnson trying to control from half guard but Slone is working away.

Issac Johnson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Slone blocks a low kick nicely.
Chad Slone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Johnson tries to keep at a distance but Slone has taken the fight into the clinch.

Johnson pulls Slone into guard.

Johnson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Slone is aware though and is defending well.

Slone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Johnson wants to stand and escape but Slone is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slone passes easily into side control. Nice work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slone tries to stand but Johnson is controlling his head.

Slone is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Johnson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Johnson can't do much from the bottom here.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sloppy strikes there by Slone.
Johnson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Slone tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Slone has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Johnson tries to buck Slone off but Slone is having none of it.

Slone is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Johnson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Slone thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Slone in side control, throwing shots but Johnson defends.
Johnson throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Johnson is looking to reverse the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Slone tries for a kimura but Johnson is defending well.
Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
You can see the frustration on Johnson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Chad Slone will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Slone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnson as he jumps to the side.
Johnson has his takedown stuffed

and Slone counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Johnson!


Johnson is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slone is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Johnson is hurt! He's hurt bad - Slone fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Johnson from any more punishment! Congratulations to Slone! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chad Slone!
