The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt closes the distance but Barnett moves to the side
and Barnett counters with an inside leg kick.
Barnett shoots in and drives through. Hunt sprawls well.
Hunt moves to clinch but Barnett breaks away

and Barnett counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hunt is trying to maintain the position but Barnett is very close to passing his half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Barnett is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hunt has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
