Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fred Boyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sakari Nurmi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nurmi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Turisas -Take the day!. Sakari Nurmi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Boyle tries to clinch up.
Boyle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Boyle throws a right hand that Nurmi ducks under and follows up with a left that Nurmi also avoids with ease.
Boyle is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nurmi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nurmi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boyle circles away.

Boyle throws a combination that misses
and Nurmi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Boyle's guard now.
Boyle is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Nurmi rolls with it to try and escape but Boyle cranks on the arm and Nurmi is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
