Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stan Bojan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nyrkilla Tapettava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bojan comes to the cage accompanied by Burn it Down. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nyrkilla Tapettava!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bojan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Tapettava counters with a shoot takedown. Bojan fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Tapettava is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Tapettava wants to control but Bojan is having none of it.
Tapettava is desperately trying to improve his position but Bojan has a good base and remains in mount.
Bojan avoids the attempt from Tapettava to control.

Tapettava's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bojan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Tapettava got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bojan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tapettava has managed to get both his arms back between Bojan's legs - danger averted.

Bojan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Tapettava sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bojan's guard.
Bojan is refusing to be controlled, as Tapettava sits in half guard.
Tapettava lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bojan is rocked!
Tapettava loads up on a big left hand. Bojan felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Tapettava looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Bojan can't hide his disappointment, as Tapettava celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nyrkilla Tapettava!
