Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Timoteo Belo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merk Roop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belo on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Belo lands a couple of shots from the bottom.

Belo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Belo looking for a guillotine here but Roop defends easily.

Roop got a little sloppy there for a moment and Belo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Roop has managed to get both his arms back between Belo's legs - danger averted.

Belo wants to stand but Roop is controlling the position.
Roop wants to control from the top but Belo keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Merk Roop.

Belo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Belo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Roops jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Belo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Roop circles away.
Belo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Belo wants it to stay on the feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Roop is looking for a triangle but Belo pushes his legs off easily.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Roop fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Belo manages to avoid it.
Belo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Roop pinned against the ropes. Roop gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Roop avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Roop throws out a loose jab but Belo uses good head movement to avoid it.

Belo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Roop manages to avoid it.

Belo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roop's waist but Roop gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Belo off to one side.

Roop lands a nice hook to Belo's body. Belo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Roop looks to score with a jab to the body but Belo is just out of range.
Belo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Roop digs a good body shot into Belo's ribs.
Oh Belo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A jab from Roop finds it's way through Belo's defenses.
Roop walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Belo drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Roop swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Belo's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
