Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Razor Maya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kersikov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Avicii - Wake Me Up ft Aloe Blacc. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Razor Maya has been cut.
Kersikov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
An inside leg kick lands from Maya.
Kersikov lands a right hook to the body.
Maya tries a head kick but it misses.
Maya throws a hook to the side of Kersikov's head but Kersikov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Maya connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

It looks like Andrei Kersikov has been cut.
Maya bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kersikov's head.
Kersikov misses with a low kick as Maya jumps back.
Kersikov tries to clinch up but Maya circles away and keeps his distance.

Maya throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Kersikov throws a lazy right hand but Maya sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Maya throws a leg kick that is checked
and Kersikov counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Maya lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kersikov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kersikov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Maya shoots in and drives through. Kersikov sprawls well.

Maya lands a head kick. Kersikov smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kersikov tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Maya manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kersikov throws an overhand right that lands on Maya's shoulder, as Maya tries to avoid the shot.
Kersikov has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Maya.

Maya lands with a kick to the temple. Kersikov shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Kersikov is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Maya rather than just go for the knockout.

Kersikov avoids the head kick by Maya.
Andrei Kersikov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kersikov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kersikov on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Maya. Maya obviously looking to wear him down.
Maya throws out a loose jab but Kersikov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Maya sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Maya is breathing heavily.

Maya throws an overhand right that lands on Kersikov's shoulder, as Kersikov tries to avoid the shot.
Maya finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Maya slips a straight right by Kersikov.
Kersikov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Maya connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kersikov scrambles back to his feet.

Kersikov lands with a good body shot.
Kersikov doesn't manage to clinch there - Maya circles away.
Kersikov explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Maya uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kersikov.

Kersikov drops Maya with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Maya looks back up at him and smiles so Kersikov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
