Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Imma Bag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Sharpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sharpe has chosen Fleetwood Mac - Albatross as his entrance music. Imma Bag has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Imma Bag!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Alan Sharpe!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharpe misses with a hook
and Bag counters with a right hand to the body.
Bag pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bag. Sharpe does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bag stuffs the takedown attempt from Sharpe. Sharpe gets slowly back to his feet.
Bag tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bag steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sharpe.
Bag keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sharpe throws a looping overhand right but Bag ducks down to avoid it.
Bag misses with a head kick.
Bag defending well as Sharpe loads up on a big left hand.

Bag closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bag gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bag missing with knees to the body.
Nice elbow from Bag.
Bag is pushing Sharpe up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Bag misses with an elbow over the top.
Bag pushes Sharpe back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
With the fighters up against the cage, Bag throws an elbow but misses.
Sharpe dodges an elbow strike from Bag.
Bag lands an elbow inside that Sharpe shrugs off.
Bag lands a knee to the head.
Bag lands a damaging elbow.
Bag lands with a right to the head.
Sharpe can't get the takedown.

A hook to the body from Bag.
Bag tries to land knees in the clinch but Sharpe avoids the damage to the body.
Bag is struggling to control the position.
Sharpe has Bag pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bag manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Imma Bag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Sharpe.
Sharpe blocks the elbow strike.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bag tries a knee to the head but Sharpe blocks it.
Bag throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Sharpe has clasped his hands together around Bag's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Sharpe misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Sharpe passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Bag!

Bag wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Sharpe goes for an armbar but Bag turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bag.

Sharpe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bag can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Sharpe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bag is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sharpe looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Sharpe working a defensive guard but Bag manages to pass into side control anyway.
Sharpe tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Bag presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sharpe wants to hold on but Bag pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Imma Bag dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Bag looks to score with a jab to the body but Sharpe is just out of range.
Sharpe throws a big shot that misses.
Bag doesn't manage to clinch there - Sharpe circles away.
Bag displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sharpe throws out the jab.
Bag scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Alan Sharpe has been cut.
Sharpe pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bag is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bag throws a head kick but Sharpe moves out of range.
Donk. Bag catches Sharpe right on the button with a cross.
Sharpe uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bag.
Bag's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sharpe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bag scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bag drives through and clinches with Sharpe against the cage.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Bag misses with a punch on the inside.
Bag throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Bag lands with a right to the head.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Bag.
Sharpe has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bag after a bit of a struggle.
Bag is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Sharpe is trying to push Bag away but Bag has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Bag is stalling here.

Bag creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Sharpe's defenses.
Bag throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Bag with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Sharpe goes for a takedown attempt but Bag pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Imma Bag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Sharpe.
Sharpe avoids the head kick by Bag.
Sharpe misses with an uppercut.
Imma Bag is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bag gets a clinch.

Bag escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bag cracks Sharpe with a right hand to the side of the head.
Bag thumps Sharpe with a low kick.

Bag tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Bag - that will leave a mark!
Sharpe slips under a jab from Bag.
Sharpe tries for a takedown but Bag sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bag misses with a looping left.
Bag tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sharpe manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sharpe avoids the head kick by Bag.
A telegraphed right hand from Sharpe misses the target.
Sharpe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sharpe takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Bag lands a high kick!

Bag throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bag throws a looping overhand right but Sharpe ducks down to avoid it.

Sharpe closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sharpe is looking for a kimura here.
Sharpe moves nicely into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Imma Bag dominated that second round.

Bag wants to clinch.
Bag throws a head kick that half lands.
Bag thuds his right hand into Sharpe's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Imma Bag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bag pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bag fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sloppy strikes from Bag. Those never looked like landing.
Bag scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

and Bag counters with a nice body shot.
Sharpe throws a hook but Bag avoids it easily.

Nice defenses there by Sharpe.
Sharpe might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Bag lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bag.
Bag swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bag throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bag lands with a right hand.
Bag blocks a jab.
Bag tries to clinch but Sharpe is having none of it.
Sharpe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bag to score with a decent uppercut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bag looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bag closes the distance and pushes Sharpe back into the cage.

Sharpe avoids the elbow strike from Bag, against the cage.
Bag has a couple of punches blocked by Sharpe.

With the fighters up against the cage, Bag throws an elbow but misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bag lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Bag gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sharpe.
Bag throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Sharpe on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Imma Bag showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bag, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
