The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Salita. That's going to slow Po down.
Salita throws a leg kick which misses Po's front leg but catches the back leg as Po tries to avoid it.
Po tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Salita manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Salita scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Salita scores with a sloppy right hand. Po should have avoided that one.
It looks like Roand Po has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Po shoots in for a takedown but Salita shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Po throws a low kick but Salita moves out of range easily.
Salita cracks Po with an open hand slap.
Salita misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Po.
Salita swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Po missing with a left hand there. Salita was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Salita cracks a nice hook into Po's ribs.
Po is breathing heavily.
Salita lands a jab to Po's midsection.
Salita connects with a body shot.
We've been hearing reports that Po has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Salita fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Po to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Po looks to clinch but Salita throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Po taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
