The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seed moves away from the strike by Powders.
A big right from Powders misses.
Powders stuns Seed with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Powders looks to score with a jab to the body but Seed is just out of range.
Seed swings for the body but Powders moves out of range.
Powders looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Seed attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Powders closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Seed quickly recovers to half guard.
Powders missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Powders throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Powders is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Seed has managed to free his arm - good work.
Seed is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Powders has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Seed moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
