Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan DePloi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Belingon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Belingon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan DePloi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Belingon!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DePloi looks for a takedown but Belingon sprawls well.
Belingon misses with a head kick.
Ryan DePloi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belingon lands a head kick!

DePloi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Belingon thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
DePloi passes Belingon's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
DePloi tries to pass to full mount but Belingon defends it.
DePloi trying to control the action but Belingon is working from the bottom.

DePloi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Belingon sees it coming and defends easily.

DePloi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Belingon defends it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.

DePloi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with DePloi in particular looking to stall.

DePloi is working for a kimura but Belingon is defending it quite comfortably.
Belingon is in trouble now - DePloi has advanced to mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

DePloi is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Belingon to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Belingon shrugs it off.

DePloi goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Belingon turns into him and now he's in DePloi's guard.

DePloi is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Belingon has his hands clasped together but DePloi extends and breaks Belingon's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by DePloi.
