Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sinan Yak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piolet Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson has chosen Jaded as his entrance music. Piolet Wilson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Piolet Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yak lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Piolet Wilson has been cut.
Wilson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Yak.
Wilson misses with a two punch combination.
Wilson slaps away a takedown attempt from Yak, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Piolet Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some wild striking there from Wilson.
Yak shoots in but no luck this time.

Yak takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Wilson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Yak backs up against the cage.
Yak shoots in for a double leg but Wilson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Yak takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wilson looks to clinch
and Yak counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wilson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Yak.
Sinan Yak is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Yak throws out a loose jab but Wilson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Wilson tries to clinch there but Yak circles away.
Wilson throws a right and a left that Yak avoids nicely.
Yak misses with a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Yak or perhaps it was just good defense by Wilson which made him look bad.
Yak dives in for a single leg takedown but Wilson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Yak is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Yak shoots in and drives through. Wilson sprawls well.

Piolet Wilson seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Yak displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wilson throws out the jab.

Yak closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wilson's guard.

Wilson lands with an uppercut that bounces Yak off the cage and back into range.
Wilson moves to clinch but Yak breaks away
and Yak counters with a two punch combo.

Wilson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Yak bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Wilson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yak swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Yak tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wilson defends well and Yak ends up having to push Wilson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Wilson tries to break free but Yak pushes him back against the cage.
Wilson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Wilson has had enough of the clinch but Yak keeps him there for the moment.

Wilson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Yak is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Wilson to the mat. Wilson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wilson wants to stand but Yak is controlling the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sinan Yak showed his dominance in that final round.
