Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Genghis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Genghis Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Lee!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Lee. Those never looked like landing.
Khan takes a kick to the side of the head.
Khan slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Khan.
We've been informed that Lee has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
A combination from Lee does no damage.
Lee bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Khan's head backwards.
Khan fails with a takedown attempt.
Lee scores with a jab. Khan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

and Khan counters by clinching up.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Khan tries to throw a body punch but Lee avoids it by throwing Khan back against the ropes.
A head punch on the inside from Lee fails to land.
Lee lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Khan or not.

Khan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Khan has closed the distance and engaged Lee in a clinch.

Lee tries to throw a body punch but Khan avoids it by throwing Lee back against the ropes.
Lee lands a right hand that snaps the head of Khan backwards.
Khan has had enough of the clinch but Lee keeps him there for the moment.
Lee lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lee prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Genghis Khan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Khan wants to stall.
Lee can't find room to land a body shot as Khan controls the action.
Lee works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Khan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lee fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Khan manages to avoid it.

Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Lee misses with a series of wild punches.

Khan tries for a takedown but Lee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Lee rushes Khan and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Lee is struggling to control the position.
Lee is trying to maintain a safe position but Khan gets an underhook and turns Lee into the ropes.
Khan struggles to land a body shot inside as Lee controls his hands.
Lee blocks an uppercut.
Lee lands with a short shot to the head.
Lee misses with a body punch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Khan is trying to drag Lee to the mat but Lee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Lee.
Lee is pressed up against the ropes. Khan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lee down to the mat. Lee avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Nice cross by Lee.
Lee scores with a nice strike.
Lee tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Khan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Khan throws a jab but it's blocked by Lee.

Khan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Khan lands in his opponent's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Khan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Khan wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.
Khan stands up over Lee, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Khan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Khan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lee can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lee has his hands on Khan's head, controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruce Lee dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Lee defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Khan.
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lee moves into range and connects with a jab.
Khan goes for a double leg but Lee avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Lee continues to drive forward.

Khan has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lee regains guard immediately.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Khan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Khan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lee has escaped and now he's on top!

Lee avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Lee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Khan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lee has managed to get both his arms back between Khan's legs - danger averted.
Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Khan is trying to keep Lee in close.
Khan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lee's guard.
Khan pushes down on Lee's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Khan is looking for a kimura but Lee is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Khan to get the leverage.
Khan looks to land a strike but Lee avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Khan is on top in guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Khan sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lee lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Lee forces Khan back against the ropes and clinches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lee lands a hook that snaps the head of Khan backwards.

And that's the end of the fight!
Genghis Khan showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Khan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
