The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Chandler stuffs the takedown attempt from Smrad. Smrad gets slowly back to his feet.
Smrad looks to land a combination but Chandler avoids it well.

Chandler bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Smrad is trying to get back to half guard.
Chandler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smrad on the ground.
Smrad is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Chandler is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Smrad has managed to free his arm - good work.

Smrad felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Chandler loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Smrad scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Chandler land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Chandler stands and salutes the crowd.
