Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between His Eminence Cardinal Sanctus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sum Gai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cardinal Sanctus comes to the cage accompanied by Fear of the Dark. Gai has chosen I'm A Lover Not A Fighter as his entrance music. His Eminence Cardinal Sanctus could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sum Gai's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sum Gai!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardinal Sanctus takes a jab right on the kisser.
Gai moves out of range of the body kick from Cardinal Sanctus.
Cardinal Sanctus lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gai misses with an uppercut. Cardinal Sanctus saw that one coming.
Gai on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cardinal Sanctus. Cardinal Sanctus obviously looking to wear him down.
Gai misses with a straight right.
Cardinal Sanctus seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Gai gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Cardinal Sanctus lands a big head kick that sends Gai tumbling to the mat! Cardinal Sanctus takes a step backwards and waves Gai back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Sum Gai has been cut.

Cardinal Sanctus decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Cardinal Sanctus is stalling here. Gai is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Cardinal Sanctus seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Gai has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Sum Gai.

That kick from Gai tenderised Cardinal Sanctus's leg. Cardinal Sanctus is trying to keep his angry face on.

Gai throws a hook but Cardinal Sanctus blocks it.
Cardinal Sanctus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cardinal Sanctus with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Cardinal Sanctus fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gai.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cardinal Sanctus.
Cardinal Sanctus thows a body kick. Gai tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Gai looks winded!
Cardinal Sanctus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gai tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cardinal Sanctus paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cardinal Sanctus throws a leg kick which misses Gai's front leg but catches the back leg as Gai tries to avoid it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cardinal Sanctus, right into the meat.

Cardinal Sanctus fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gai has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Cardinal Sanctus keeps Gai at a distance using the push kick.

Cardinal Sanctus throws a leg kick which misses Gai's front leg but catches the back leg as Gai tries to avoid it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cardinal Sanctus lands a big right hand that sends Gai crashing to the mat! Cardinal Sanctus stays standing though and waves Gai back to his feet!

Gai drops his hands momentarily and Cardinal Sanctus needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Gai just on the top of the head. Gai drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Gai - he's done!
