Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lawrance Gerltz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Kuula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuula comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Rolling Stones - Sympathy For The Devil kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Lawrance Gerltz has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerltz feints and then cracks Kuula's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kuula down.
The fighters circling - Gerltz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kuula changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gerltz tries to avoid it but Kuula manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gerltz to the ground. Gerltz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gerltz pushes Kuula up against the cage in a clinch.
Gerltz lands a body shot in the clinch.
Gerltz scores with a nice hook to the head.
Gerltz works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Gerltz manages to break the clinch.
Gerltz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kuula backs up against the cage.
Gerltz tries to clinch there but Kuula circles away.
Gerltz misses with a straight right.
Gerltz thumps Kuula with a low kick.

Kuula prevents a body shot from Gerltz.
Gerltz throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Gerltz has Kuula pushed against the cage.
Kuula is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Kuula blocks an uppercut.
Gerltz throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Kuula changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gerltz fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gerltz has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kuula shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gerltz as he avoids it easily.
Lawrance Gerltz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergei Kuula.
Gerltz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kuula throws a jab but it's blocked by Gerltz.

Kuula wants to clinch.
Kuula looks for a takedown but Gerltz sprawls well.
Kuula slips a jab and a cross from Gerltz.
Gerltz misses with a body shot.
Kuula misses with a two punch combination.
Gerltz thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kuula if he has to take too many more of those.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gerltz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kuula throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gerltz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kuula is in Gerltz's guard.

Gerltz is working an open guard so Kuula takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Gerltz lands a glancing blow to the side of Kuula's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Gerltz. Kuula does a little dance to reset his feet.
A solid leg kick lands there for Gerltz.

Gerltz feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kuula sprawling to the canvas! Kuula rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gerltz finish him?!

Kuula is rocked!

Gerltz lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Kuula crumples to the floor! Gerltz milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
