Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sosthene Ndikumana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideya Kaayi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ndikumana misses with a low kick.
Ndikumana moves in looking to clinch but Kaayi pushes him off.
Ndikumana keeps the fight on the outside.
Kaayi connects with a crisp jab.
Hideya Kaayi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ndikumana feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kaayi's calf.
Kaayi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ndikumana counters with a leg kick.
Kaayi thuds his right hand into Ndikumana's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The fighters circling - Kaayi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Kaayi has momentary wrist control but Ndikumana slips an elbow through the middle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ndikumana gets to his feet and stands over Kaayi, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Kaayi felt that one! Ndikumana unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Kaayi from any more punishment!
