Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slurms Mckenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abe Lincon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mckenzie comes to the cage accompanied by Sail. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Lincon with that takedown attempt.
Lincon throws out a loose jab but Mckenzie uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Mckenzie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Lincon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mckenzie is trying to defend but Lincon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mckenzie enables Lincon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mckenzie manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Abe Lincon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

and Lincon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Abe Lincon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lincon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
