Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gichin Fames (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Dust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Gichin Fames!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Spike Dust!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fames ducks under a wild hook from Dust.
Fames seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Fames swings for the body but Dust moves out of range.
Dust closes the distance and lands a one-two.
A jab from Dust misses.
Dust's corner calls for a 1-2. Dust obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Dust rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Fames counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Fames looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dust wants to get back to full guard.
Dust felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Fames throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Fames wants to pass to mount but Dust is defending the position.

Fames throws a sloppy strike and Dust uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Dust has ended up in Fames's guard.

Fames has his foot on Dust's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dust works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dust wants to control from the top but Fames keeps moving.

Dust lands a nice hook to Fames's body. Fames takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Fames lands a nice hook to Dust's body. Dust takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Dust tests Fames's chin there with a solid looking shot.

and Fames counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dust's guard now.

Fames postures up in Dust's guard and throws a big left but Dust blocks it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fames working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dust doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dust manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fames accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Spike Dust has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Fames looking to sit in guard and control but Dust gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Fames looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dust puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Fames tries to get to full guard but Dust has control of the leg.
Gichin Fames overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dust moves into full mount! Fames won't be happy about that!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fames sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

And that's the end of the fight!
Gichin Fames showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fames, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Gichin Fames rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
