Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikey Moo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mikey Moo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Rogers!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Topper Green and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moo gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Rogers tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Moo breaks from the clinch.
Rogers shoots in looking for a takedown but Moo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rogers's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Moo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Moo lands a nice uppercut.

Moo jumps into guard, dragging Rogers to the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Rogers wants to pass the guard but Moo is keeping the position.
Moo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rogers postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Moo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rogers manages to get himself to full guard.

Rogers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rogers working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Rogers is trying to control the action in half guard but Moo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Moo tries to kick Rogers off but Rogers keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Moo regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Rogers.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rogers accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Moo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rogers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moo is fending him off so far but Rogers persists. Nope, Moo circles away and we're back to standing.
Rogers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Moo was well out of range. Poor timing from Rogers.
Moo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rogers throws a lazy uppercut
and Moo counters with a series of strikes. Rogers will be more careful next time no doubt.

Rogers lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rogers throws a hook to the side of Moo's head but Moo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The fight stays on the outside here - Moo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Moo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Moo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Moo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rogers knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Moo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Rogers has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Moo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rogers is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Moo, into his guard.
Rogers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Moo seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Rogers wants to pass the guard but Moo is keeping the position.
Moo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Moo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rogers's guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Moo enables Rogers to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Moo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Rogers lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Rogers postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Moo looks a forlorn figure.

Steve Rogers has got the better of the ground game so far.

Rogers is just content to waste time from the top position. Moo takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Rogers tries to free his leg and advance position but Moo is retaining full guard.

Rogers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Steve Rogers has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Moo forces Rogers back against the cage and clinches.
Rogers is pressed up against the cage. Moo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rogers down to the mat. Rogers avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Moo can't find room to land a body shot as Rogers controls the action.
Rogers goes for a takedown attempt but Moo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Moo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rogers swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mikey Moo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Rogers darts in looking for a takedown but Moo gets double underhooks and turns Rogers into the cage.
Mikey Moo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Rogers.

Rogers takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Moo lands a hook that snaps the head of Rogers backwards.

Moo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rogers uses from the top position.

Steve Rogers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Rogers winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
