Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Natan Grygiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzesimir Ciupaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grygiel comes to the cage accompanied by Sobota- Rusz dupsko na marsz. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ciupaga's choice of entrance music: Polak potrafi. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Krzesimir Ciupaga!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ciupaga looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Grygiel lands with a shot to the body.
Ciupaga throws a half hearted mid kick.
Grygiel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ciupaga manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Grygiel!
The fight stays on the outside here - Grygiel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Grygiel is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ciupaga sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Ciupaga is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Grygiel is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ciupaga is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ciupaga wants to control from the top but Grygiel keeps moving.
Ciupaga seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Ciupaga.

Ciupaga displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Grygiel.

Grygiel looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Grygiel is trying to force a seperation but Ciupaga has the dominant position.

Grygiel has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ciupaga after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Natan Grygiel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ciupaga lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Grygiel goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ciupaga prevents it.

Ciupaga creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Grygiel's defenses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Grygiel is rocked!
Ciupaga has Grygiel pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Grygiel is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Ciupaga - that's hurt Grygiel badly! Oh, another knee lands and Grygiel is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Grygiel doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Krzesimir Ciupaga!
Krzesimir Ciupaga seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
