Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Conan Crom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kk Brewer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crom kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Anvil of Crom. Brewer has chosen scooby doo as his entrance music. Kk Brewer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brewer tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Crom counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Crom throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brewer throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Brewer shoots in and drives through. Crom sprawls well.
Brewer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crom sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brewer somewhat.

Brewer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Crom sprawls well initially but Brewer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Brewer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crom sprawls well. Crom wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brewer gets slowly back to his feet.

Brewer has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Crom is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Brewer.
Conan Crom has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Crom is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Conan Crom.
I think Brewer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
