Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andokuhle Congo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cheech Marin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Congo moves into the clinch.
Marin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A left hand lands to the body for Congo.
Marin has Congo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Congo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Congo lands a hook that snaps the head of Marin backwards.
It looks like Cheech Marin has been cut.
Congo lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Marin.
Congo lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Congo throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Marins head.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Marin has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Congo creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Marin with a big uppercut! Marin tries to clinch up but Congo pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Marin to the mat! Marin covers up and Congo unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Andokuhle Congo!
Andokuhle Congo decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
