Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rudolph White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kervi Saksson!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saksson misses with a series of wild punches.

Saksson closes the distance and clinches.
White working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Saksson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
White throwing strikes but missing.
Saksson throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Saksson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from White.
White is looking to work some ground and pound but Saksson has wrist control.
White trying to control but Saksson is working from the bottom.

White stands up and waves to Saksson to follow him.
White tries to clinch up.

Saksson clinches up against the cage.

Saksson is trying to trip White. He has hold of a leg but White is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Saksson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Saksson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed White's guard.

Saksson works his way into full mount!

Saksson controlling the pace for now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Saksson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of White's face.
White could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Saksson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Saksson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But White has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from White!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
White wants to control from the top but Saksson keeps moving.
Saksson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
White slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rudolph White wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Saksson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Saksson lands in his opponent's guard.

White is looking for a triangle here but Saksson uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
White is not content to let Saksson control the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
White is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Saksson off and has taken his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kervi Saksson dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Saksson darts in and clinches White up against the cage.

Saksson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Saksson gets a takedown into half guard.

Saksson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
White wants to clinch up but Saksson keeps it at a distance.
White throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Saksson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
White fails in his attempt to clinch.

Saksson shoots in and bounces White off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
White looking to hit a scissor sweep but Saksson is one step ahead there.
White wants to improve his position but instead Saksson has moved into half guard.
Saksson performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Saksson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. White doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Saksson.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Saksson throwing shots but White is blocking nicely.
Saksson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
White manages to get to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Saksson stands up from White's guard - Saksson perhaps looking for a knockout.
Saksson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

White clinches with his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Saksson lands a good knee to the midsection. White won't want to take too many of those.

Saksson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
White tries to clinch but Saksson moves away

and Saksson counters with a head kick that drops White to the mat! White scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!


White is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Saksson shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! White is on queer street and Saksson is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Kervi Saksson!
