And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alexander closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Alexander wants to control but Urg is keeping him busy.
Urg regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Alexander.
Alexander must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Alexander is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Let's hope that Alexander has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Paul Alexander wasn't active enough on the ground.

Alexander looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Urg!
Urg regains half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Alexander is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Urg defends it well.

Alexander lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Alexander seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Alexander throws a strike but Urg rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Alexander wants to sweep here but Urg controlling him for the moment.

Alexander has his feet on Urg's thighs here. He's pushed Urg off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Urg screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Paul Alexander decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
