Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dean Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kay Ector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ector has chosen Monster! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kay Ector!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ector tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thomas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Thomas throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Thomas lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Kay Ector has been cut.
Ector lands a nice looking body shot.
Ector throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ector lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Thomas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Dean Thomas has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Thomas motions for Ector to come forward. Thomas throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Thomas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thomas pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ector is out of range and Thomas settles back down.
Ector misses with an uppercut.
Thomas scores with a head kick.
Thomas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ector scores with a shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ector. Thomas does a little dance to reset his feet.
A punch lands to the side of Thomas 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ector avoids the head kick by Thomas.
Thomas tried to score with a low kick but Ector checks it.
Ector connects with a body shot that sends Thomas's belly button to the back.
Ector fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thomas manages to avoid it.
Thomas takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Ector looks to score with a jab to the body but Thomas is just out of range.
Good exchange - Ector coming out on top.

Thomas is rocked!
Ector wobbles Thomas with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Ector dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Thomas to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
