Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nestor Walsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nestor Walsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andre Santos!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Santos paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Walsh closes the distance but Santos moves to the side

and Santos moves into the clinch.

Walsh gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Santos regains guard.
Walsh is looking to work some ground and pound but Santos has wrist control.
Santos looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Walsh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Santos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Walsh avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Walsh fails in his attempt to clinch.

Santos drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Walsh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Andre Santos has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Walsh tries to clinch but Santos is having none of it.

Walsh has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Santos is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Walsh has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Santos uses from the top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Andre Santos.

Walsh is rocked!

Santos looking for a guillotine from mount but Walsh is having none of it.

Santos lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Walsh is looking to improve his position but Santos isn't that keen on the idea.
Walsh takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Santos postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Walsh badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Santos around the waist but Santos pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Santos is the winner by TKO! Santos jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andre Santos!
