Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm Blackwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ty Daboss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ty Daboss has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Malcolm Blackwell's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daboss shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blackwell's guard.

Daboss drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Daboss jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Blackwell working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Daboss doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Daboss manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Daboss wants to stand and escape but instead Blackwell has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Blackwell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Daboss has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Blackwell has managed to get both his arms back between Daboss's legs - danger averted.

OK we're going to have a standup here. ty Daboss hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Daboss closes the distance and pushes Blackwell back into the cage.

Blackwell had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Daboss defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daboss passes Blackwell's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Blackwell wants to improve his position but Daboss is controlling well.
Daboss wants to control but Blackwell is keeping him busy.
It looks like Daboss is going to stand back up.

Daboss is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Blackwell's half guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Daboss tries to land a front kick but Blackwell steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Malcolm Blackwell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Daboss is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Daboss is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Blackwell seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Daboss wants to hit a switch here but Blackwell passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Daboss there!

Blackwell fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Blackwell can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Daboss is looking to escape.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Blackwell cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Blackwell is working for a guillotine from mount but Daboss frees his head quite easily.
Daboss wants to hold on but Blackwell pushes him away.

Daboss is looking to get back to full guard here but Blackwell has managed to pass to side control instead.
Daboss takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Well Daboss has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
