Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lukas Scott!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott moves out of range as Diaz strikes.
Diaz misses with a two punch combination.
Scott takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Diaz misses with a straight right.
Diaz missing with a left hand there. Scott was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Scott should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Scott moves away.
Scott shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Diaz works Scott's body with a nice hook.
Scott drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Diaz tries to work over Scott's front leg with a kick but Scott checks it.

Diaz throws a right and a left that Scott avoids nicely.
Diaz tries to bum rush Scott with a series of wild strikes but Scott uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Diaz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Scott sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Diaz throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Diaz lands a jab to the head.
Diaz tests Scott's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Scott avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Diaz. Those never looked like landing.

Diaz misses with a wild combination.
Nick Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scott takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Scott ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Diaz's corner calls for a 1-2. Diaz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Diaz throws a series of punches but Scott avoids them all with ease.
Diaz misses with the combination.
Scott looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Scott dodges the punch combination from Diaz.
Diaz connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Diaz throws a jab but it's blocked by Scott.

Diaz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Scott.
Scott goes for a double leg but Diaz avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Diaz continues to drive forward.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Diaz.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Scott as Diaz tries to tie him up.
Diaz lands a shoulder strike.
Scott blocks a body shot from Diaz.
Scott wants a takedown but no success here.
Diaz misses with a punch to the body.

Diaz breaks from the clinch.
Diaz is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Diaz uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Diaz moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Diaz cracks Scott with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Diaz misses the jab.
Diaz fails to land with a series of punches.
Scott moves away from the strike by Diaz.
Scott dodges the punch combination from Diaz.
Diaz missing with a left hand there. Scott was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters circling - Diaz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Diaz throws a jab but it's blocked by Scott.
Diaz scores with a nice head shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nick Diaz dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Diaz throws a right and a left that both miss.
Scott moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Diaz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Scott circles away quickly and effectively.
Diaz misses the jab.
Diaz throws the left hand but Scott avoids the punch easily.
Diaz lands with a nice combination. Scott backs away looking to recover.
Diaz lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nick Diaz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Diaz throws a looping overhand right but Scott ducks down to avoid it.
Diaz looks to land a right hand but Scott moved out of range.
Diaz scores with a decent looking hook.
Diaz scores with a sloppy right hand. Scott should have avoided that one.
Diaz tries to bum rush Scott with a series of wild strikes but Scott uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Diaz misses with a double jab.

Scott changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Diaz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Scott cracks Diaz with a big right hand but Diaz just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Scott working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Diaz takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Scott wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diaz keeps working.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Scott works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Scott in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Diaz is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lukas Scott!
