Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chapa Coco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frito Lei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei throws a head kick but Coco moves out of range.
Coco darts in looking for a takedown but Lei gets double underhooks and turns Coco into the cage.

Lei escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight stays on the outside here - Coco looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lei has closed the distance and engaged Coco in a clinch.

Lei breaks from the clinch.
No joy there for Lei, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lei looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Lei clinches up against the cage.
Coco tries to score a body lock takedown but Lei shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lei throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Lei rushes Coco and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Coco is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lei gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

and Coco counters with a two punch combo.

Frito Lei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lei tries to bum rush Coco with a series of wild strikes but Coco uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Coco avoids the head kick by Lei.
Lei tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Coco is defended easily by Lei.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lei misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Lei darts in and clinches Coco up against the cage.

Lei connects with a leg kick. Coco looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Coco. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Lei tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Coco avoids it.

Lei keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Coco's efforts to push away.

Coco gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Lei is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Coco postures up in Lei's guard and throws a big left but Lei blocks it.

Lei manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Coco closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lei circles away.

Lei wants to clinch up but Coco keeps it at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lei lands a left and a right that send Coco crashing to the mat, dazed. Lei thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Lei throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Coco shoots in but no luck this time.
Coco avoids the head kick by Lei.
Coco misses with a takedown attempt

and Lei counters by clinching up.
Lei cracks Coco with a nice body shot.
Coco is breathing heavily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lei lands an elbow inside.

Chapa Coco's cut is getting worse.
Coco goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lei prevents it.

Lei breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Coco gets tackled into the cage by Lei. Lei maintains the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frito Lei dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Chapa Coco's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Coco is working for takedown but Lei is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lei gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Coco.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lei gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Chapa Coco's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Lei breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lei rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coco moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lei lands a left and a right that send Coco crashing to the mat, dazed. Lei thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Coco is rocked!

Jeez, Chapa Coco's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oh Coco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lei has Coco pressed against the cage. He pushes Coco back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Lei throws a beautiful elbow that sends Coco crashing to the floor! Lei piles on the pressure with more strikes! Coco is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
