Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacky Chan!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chan takes the fight into the clinch.
Burns fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Chan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Chan moves into the clinch.
Burns creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Chan lands a left hand.
Burns wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Burns tries to pull guard but Chan forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Burns working hard to break the clinch.
Burns really is a fat lump.
A short uppercut from Chan.
Chan lands a right hand that snaps the head of Burns backwards.


It looks like Glen Burns has been cut.

Chan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Chan breaks the clinch.

Chan clinches up against the cage.
Burns is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Chan is keeping busy.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chan taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Still in the clinch, Chan scores with a nice short uppercut.
Burns is looking to break free of the clinch but Chan has double underhooks.
Burns tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Chan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Chan has closed the distance and engaged Burns in a clinch.

Chan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Chan is looking to control Burns's arms but Burns gets an underhook and turns him. Now Chan has his back to the cage.

Chan breaks the clinch.

Chan has Burns up against the cage in a clinch.

Burns manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Burns is proving hard to escape from.
Burns tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Chan wants to stand but Burns is controlling his posture from full guard.
Burns has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Burns looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chan is one step ahead there.
Chan postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Glen Burns just wasn't active enough.

Chan gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Burns wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Chan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Chan forces Burns back against the cage and clinches.
Chan is trying to stall.
Chan lands a shoulder strike.
Chan lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Chan lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Chan pushes Burns back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Chan looking to slow down the pace here.
A bit of stalling here from Burns.
Chan working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Chan is trying to maintain a safe position but Burns gets an underhook and turns Chan into the cage.
Burns wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Chan is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Burns is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Burns is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Chan to keep the fight standing.

Chan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Chan rushes Burns and presses him up against the cage.
Burns misses with a punch to the body.
Chan landing knees to the head.
Chan connects with a knee to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chan lands with a left to the head.


Burns is rocked!
Burns is breathing heavily.
Chan is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Oh Burns is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chan creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Burns's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Burns drops to his knees and Chan pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacky Chan!
A very excited looking Jacky Chan made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
