The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDaniel drives through and clinches with Chen against the cage.
McDaniel tries to stall but Chen uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. McDaniel obliges.

McDaniel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chen wants to clinch up but McDaniel keeps it at a distance.
McDaniel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chen's waist but Chen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McDaniel off to one side.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mike McDaniel hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Chen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

I would just about give that final round to Mike McDaniel.
