Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Carr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic shoots in looking for a takedown. Carr tries to sprawl out of it but Filipovic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Carr drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Filipovic had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Carr defends it easily.
Carr stands up over Filipovic, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Filipovic throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Carr escapes and throws Filipovic's legs to the side, diving into side control!
