Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith's entrance music is Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl feat. Georgi Kay - In My Mind. A fine choice. Shamrock has chosen Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shamrock, as that shot connected.
Shamrock closes the distance and clinches.
Shamrock tries for a takedown but Smith manages to get underhooks.
Smith breaks from the clinch.
Smith shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Smith showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Smith seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Shamrock does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Shamrock has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smith is working away from the top position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
