The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yelgersmold throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Heim.
Donk. Heim catches Yelgersmold right on the button with a cross.
Heim throws a shot from downtown. Yelgersmold moves away and avoids it.

Heim tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Yelgersmold manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Heim is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Yelgersmold uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Heim.
Yelgersmold has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Team Finland in the buildup to the fight.
Yelgersmold throws a nice looking combination but Heim bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Heim scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Yelgersmold tries to lock up and control but Heim gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Heim lands a big shot there that rocks Yelgersmold but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
