Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nick Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seth Duplesris!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duplesris throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diaz.
Diaz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Diaz throws a body punch but Duplesris moves out of range.
Diaz feints with a jab and clips Duplesris right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Duplesris is sent crashing into the canvas and Diaz leaps in for the kill! Duplesris tries to get to his feet but Diaz is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Duplesris is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Diaz!
