The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shopov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Shopov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lugz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lugz rushes Shopov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Lugz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lugz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Shopov passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Shopov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lugz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Lugz is letting Shopov control him for a moment.

Shopov has an Americana. Lugz didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Shopov is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Shopov hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
