Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ford will feel that in the morning.
Lawson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ford throws a leg kick that misses.
Ford blocks a head kick by Lawson.
Ford shoots in and drives through. Lawson sprawls well.
Ford changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lawson tries to avoid it but Ford manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lawson to the ground. Lawson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lawson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ford misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ford. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Ford gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Lawson gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Ford is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
