The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snape tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blackburn swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Blackburn just misses with a punch to the body.
Blackburn throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Snape.
Snape tries to clinch but fails miserably
enabling Blackburn to counter with a crisp jab.
Blackburn swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Blackburn misses with a few strikes there.
No joy there for Blackburn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Blackburn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Snape doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Snape manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blackburn is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Snape rolls with it to try and escape but Blackburn cranks on the arm and Snape is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
