Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Zbigniew Ciosek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dos Santos's choice of entrance music: The Prodigy - Warrior's Dance HD 720p . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ciosek lands a nice shot to the body.
Dos Santos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ciosek moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dos Santos throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ciosek counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dos Santos throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ciosek stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Ciosek moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ciosek throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dos Santos.

It looks like Junior Dos Santos has been cut.
Dos Santos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ciosek.
Dos Santos pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ciosek seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Ciosek dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dos Santos. That did some damage!
Dos Santos's coach down at Academia Ipanema was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dos Santos's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dos Santos does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ciosek scores with a hook to the body. Dos Santos takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

That has opened up Junior Dos Santos's cut even more.

Ciosek throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Dos Santos on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Dos Santos takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Ciosek cracks Dos Santos with an open hand slap.

The cut above Junior Dos Santos's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ciosek throws a front kick that sends Dos Santos stumbling back into the ropes.
Ciosek wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ciosek scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Ciosek throws out a head kick that Dos Santos doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Dos Santos crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Dos Santos's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ciosek throws a right and a left that Dos Santos avoids nicely.

Ciosek is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Junior Dos Santos's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Junior Dos Santos's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After winning the bout, Zbigniew Ciosek thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
