PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Bishop will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bishop shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bishop was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Velasquez pushes Bishop away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bishop gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Velasquez tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Velasquez really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Bishop's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.

Peter Bishop comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bishop has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
