The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Perkins wants it to stay on the feet.
Campion showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Perkins.
Perkins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Campion sprawls well. Campion wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Perkins gets slowly back to his feet.
Campion throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Perkins tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Campion is in Perkins's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Perkins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Campion gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Campion wants to get up but he can't break Perkins's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Perkins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Perkins seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Campion throws a strike but Perkins rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Campion can do anything to dispel that myth.
Campion is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Campion is trying to hold Perkins in close to prevent damage but Perkins has managed to pass into half guard.

Campion really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Perkins throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Campion because Perkins loaded up on that one.

Campion tries to escape but Perkins has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
