Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yiotis Egomitis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Point Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egomitis fails with an attempt to clinch.
Egomitis tries to clinch but Fighter moves out of range.
Fighter closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Egomitis's guard.
Fighter throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Fighter working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Egomitis on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Egomitis tries to get out of the position.
Fighter lands a couple of elbows.
Fighter in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Egomitis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fighter is controlling him.

Fighter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fighter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Egomitis wants to get back to his feet but Fighter is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Fighter drops back, looking for a kneebar! Egomitis looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Egomitis looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Egomitis!
Fighter tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Egomitis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fighter is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Egomitis is staying active.
Fighter is looking to regain half guard here but Egomitis keeps moving and retains side control.

Fighter keeps trying to improve his position.
Fighter is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Egomitis's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Fighter is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Egomitis jumps into side control!

Egomitis has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Fighter looking for a triangle here. Egomitis is fighting it but it looks tight! Fighter pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Egomitis is tapping out - this one is all over!
