Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emil Karamanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pavel Grigorenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grigorenko goes for a double leg but Karamanov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Karamanov continues to drive forward.
Karamanov stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Karamanov jumps guard and drags Grigorenko to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Karamanov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Karamanov wants to work for an arm triangle but Grigorenko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Karamanov is landing with some decent strikes but Grigorenko is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Karamanov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Grigorenko's face.

Karamanov has hold of Grigorenko's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Grigorenko manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Grigorenko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Karamanov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Karamanov has his foot on Grigorenko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Grigorenko works his way back into a safe position though.
