PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tigran Badoyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiny McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tigran Badoyan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tiny McGee!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Tigran Badoyan has been cut.
McGee tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Badoyan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McGee napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Badoyan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McGee's guard.

McGee is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
McGee tries to buck Badoyan off but Badoyan is having none of it.
Badoyan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Badoyan swings around for an armbar but McGee sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Badoyan's guard.
McGee is fighting to break Badoyan's control of his arms but Badoyan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Badoyan has his foot on McGee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McGee works his way back into a safe position though.

Badoyan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Badoyan is on top in guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Badoyan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Badoyan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McGee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Badoyan manages to avoid it.
Badoyan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McGee.
Crunch! Badoyan slams his shin into McGee's torso.
McGee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Badoyan moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Tiny McGee has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGee throws a lazy right hand but Badoyan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The fighters circling - McGee throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Badoyan misses with a few strikes there.
McGee looks to land a right hand but Badoyan moved out of range.

Badoyan misses with a two punch combination.
Badoyan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Badoyan throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
McGee checks a low kick from Badoyan.
McGee scores with a one two! Badoyan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Badoyan lands with a kick to the temple. McGee shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Badoyan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that McGee can do to turn this around?

Badoyan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Badoyan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

McGee is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Badoyan.

McGee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Badoyan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Badoyan lands a big head kick that sends McGee tumbling to the mat! Badoyan takes a step backwards and waves McGee back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McGee is rocked!
Badoyan is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Badoyan missing with a left hand there. McGee was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Badoyan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
McGee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Badoyan was well out of range. Poor timing from McGee.

Badoyan cracks McGee with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Badoyan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning McGee to stand back up!
McGee is still on wobbly legs! Can Badoyan finish him?
McGee blocks the body kick.
Badoyan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
McGee is breathing heavily.
Badoyan drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks McGee right on the button. McGee goes down! Badoyan follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Badoyan gets the win via TKO!

Tigran Badoyan very nearly forgot to thank Conquer amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
