Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Duffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RJ Swayze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swayze is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sail (Awolnation cover)- Devil Driver. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Santiago Duffy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, RJ Swayze!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duffy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Swayze circles away.

Swayze clinches.
Duffy prevents Swayze from breaking the clinch.

Swayze goes for a takedown in the clinch but Duffy prevents it.
Swayze lands a left hand that snaps the head of Duffy backwards.

Duffy effectively controlling the action here.
Duffy tries to stall but Swayze uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Swayze jumps guard and drags Duffy to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Duffy scoring with some ground and pound.
Duffy throws a strike but Swayze rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Duffy wants to stand up but Swayze is controlling him.
Swayze is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Swayze wants to stand but Duffy has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Duffy is pulling down on Swayze's head. It's preventing any offense from Swayze, at least for the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Santiago Duffy wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Swayze stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Swayze wants it to stay on the feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Duffy dives in and grabs Swayze's left leg, looking for a takedown. Swayze pushes down on Duffy's head and hops out.
Duffy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Swayze sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Duffy somewhat.

Duffy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Swayze tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Duffy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

RJ Swayze showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Swayze shoots in looking for a takedown but Duffy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Swayze's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Duffy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Swayze was covering up waiting for the punch and Duffy finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by RJ Swayze.
Duffy throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Swayze is defended easily by Duffy.

Duffy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Swayze to the mat! Swayze manages to get full guard.

RJ Swayze is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
