Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Holland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Craig Clifton!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clifton has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Holland.
Clifton takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A lazy left from Holland finds it's target.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Clifton has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Holland connects with a solid leg kick.

Holland scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Clifton doesn't seem bothered though.
Holland lands a nice leg kick that just misses Clifton's sensitive parts.

Holland displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clifton.
Clifton shoots in looking for a takedown but Holland manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Clifton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Clifton takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Clifton tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Holland fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Clifton.
Clifton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Holland leaves Clifton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Clifton's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Clifton takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Holland stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Holland wants it to stay on the feet.
Clifton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holland tries to avoid it but Clifton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holland to the ground. Holland escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Holland is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Holland. That snapped Clifton's head back.

Clifton takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Holland cracks Clifton with a good jab.
Holland thows a body kick. Clifton tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Holland throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Clifton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Clifton has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Holland is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Clifton goes for a takedown in the clinch but Holland prevents it.

Holland is pressed up against the cage. Clifton has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Holland down to the mat. Holland avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Holland feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Clifton sprawling to the canvas! Clifton rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Holland finish him?!

It looks like Craig Clifton has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circle momentarily. Holland darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Clifton is still on wobbly legs! Can Holland finish him?
Holland throws a nice outside leg kick.
Holland feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Clifton's calf.

Holland slaps away a takedown attempt from Clifton, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Clifton seems to have recovered his senses.
Holland connects with a right hand. Clifton shakes it off.
Clifton is breathing heavily.

Holland shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clifton as he avoids it easily.
Andrew Holland is winning the standup battle so far.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Holland! Clifton is backing up but he can't get away as Holland lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Clifton and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Andrew Holland!
