Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Carrillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paulo Sanchez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sam Carrillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez throws a right hand that Carrillo ducks under and follows up with a left that Carrillo also avoids with ease.
Carrillo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Carrillo tries to close the distance and clinch but Sanchez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Carrillo is looking to clinch but Sanchez is avoiding it.

Sanchez drives through with a takedown into Carrillo's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Carrillo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sanchez is controlling him.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Carrillo enables Sanchez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Carrillo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Sanchez is working to tighten his grip on Carrillo's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Carrillo has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sanchez is really squeezing tight and eventually Carrillo passes out! Sanchez breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
