Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Petrenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrenko has chosen Bro Hymm/ Pennywise as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dmitry Petrenko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrenko misses with a kick to the body
and Hill cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Petrenko pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hill blocks a head kick by Petrenko.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Petrenko has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Petrenko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Petrenko throws a shot from downtown. Hill moves away and avoids it.
Hill ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Petrenko misses with an uppercut.
Petrenko dives in for a single leg takedown but Hill sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Hill tries to sprawl but Petrenko drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Petrenko scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hill doesn't seem bothered though.

Petrenko moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bobby Hill is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Petrenko lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hill's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Petrenko connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hill scrambles back to his feet.
Petrenko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Hill counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Petrenko, as that shot connected.

Petrenko misses with a hook. Hill ducked under it nicely.
Hill throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Petrenko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hill but Hill pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Petrenko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hill sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hill uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Petrenko has time to react.
Petrenko misses with a head kick.
A left lands for Petrenko.
A solid leg kick lands there for Petrenko.
Petrenko's corner calls for a 1-2. Petrenko obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hill fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Petrenko manages to avoid it.
Hill takes a swing at Petrenko's ribcage but misses.
Hill throws a hook to the side of Petrenko's head but Petrenko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Petrenko looks to land a right hand but Hill moved out of range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hill loads up on a big right hand but Petrenko slips the punch.
And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Hill looks to throw the jab but Petrenko is out of range.
Petrenko ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Hill is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Petrenko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Hill throws a head kick but Petrenko moves out of range.
Petrenko plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Petrenko is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hill.
Hill moves out of range as Petrenko throws a body kick.
Petrenko misses with a wild combination.

Petrenko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hill. That did some damage!

Petrenko darts in and clinches Hill up against the cage.
Hill gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Petrenko.
Petrenko scores with a shoulder strike.
Hill stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Hill wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Petrenko has him pressed against the cage.
Hill digs a right hand into Petrenko's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Petrenko's gas tank.
Hill breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hill throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Petrenko throws a front kick that sends Hill stumbling back into the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
