Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Eater.
Eater looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Cutler's coach down at Bushido Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Cutler's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Eater shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cutler but Cutler pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Eater connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cutler's hands.
Cutler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Eater moves away.

and Cutler counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Cutler throws an elbow but it misses.

Cutler is trying to trip Eater. He has hold of a leg but Eater is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Cutler persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Eater is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cutler is aware though and is defending well.
Cutler in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Eater lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cutler!

Cutler is in a horrible position here. Eater smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Cutler is squirming around, avoiding Eater's attempts to control the action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Eater quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Eater but it's paid off an Cutler is forced to tap! Nice work by Eater.
