Filipovic comes into the arena with Sonne-Rammstein blaring out of the sound system. William Marstars has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Marstars tenderised Filipovic's leg. Filipovic is trying to keep his angry face on.
Marstars slips a straight right by Filipovic.
Marstars tries to clinch up but Filipovic circles away and keeps his distance.
Marstars misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Marstars doesn't manage to clinch there - Filipovic circles away.
Filipovic slips a jab and a cross from Marstars.
Marstars has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Marstars there as he acknowledges the shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Filipovic tries to keep at a distance but Marstars has taken the fight into the clinch.
Filipovic trying to control the position but instead, Marstars has worked for underhooks and has pushed Filipovic into the ropes.
Marstars looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The referee calls for Marstars to work.
Filipovic fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Marstars is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

Marstars will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Filipovic up against the ropes.
Marstars wants to break free but Filipovic has control.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Filipovic.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Filipovic as Marstars tries to tie him up.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by William Marstars.
Marstars throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Filipovic sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Marstars tries to close the distance and clinch but Filipovic swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Marstars moves into the clinch.
Marstars stalling the fight.

Marstars breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Marstars looks to clinch
and Filipovic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Filipovic doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Marstars wants to clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Filipovic misses with a straight right.

Marstars shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Marstars takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Marstars tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Marstars moves out of range as Filipovic strikes.
William Marstars seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Filipovic moves away from the strike by Marstars.
Marstars tries to clinch up but Filipovic circles away and keeps his distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mirko Filipovic dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Marstars just leaning against Filipovic, taking a breather.

Filipovic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Marstars drops his guard momentarily, allowing Filipovic to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Marstars! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Filipovic takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Mirko Filipovic!
Our winner, Mirko Filipovic, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
